Agave Silver Corp. Terminates Agreement with Hastings Highland Resources Limited for Option on Nickel-Copper Property and Provides Additional Updates

Vancouver, BC – September 9, 2015 – Agave Silver Corp. (TSX-V: AGV) (“Agave” or the “Company”) announces that it has terminated its agreement with Hastings Highland Resources Limited (“Hastings”) that provided for the exclusive option is to earn a 90% interest in Hastings’ Limerick Township nickel-copper property located in Ontario, Canada.
The engagement of an Ontario based investment banking firm to assist in the Company’s financing efforts have not yet returned any favourable results, however, conversations are ongoing and the Company will continue to pursue strategic alternatives.
The Company recently added to its land holdings by purchasing the Montezuma claims, a past producer, for consideration of $500. The claims are contiguous to the Company’s Kaslo silver-lead-zinc property in British Columbia.
